My review of HoudahSpot as seen on MacZOT.com One thing I always liked about Tiger, was Spotlight. Even though it is not perfect and by far not at the end of it's capabilities, I was a hardcore Spotlight user from the first minute, just for the fact that my harddrive is always a mess. Now here I am, the Spotlight loving Mac user, and browsing the web. I come across Houdaspot on MacZOT, and my first thought is: "Why replace Spotlight", but I was a little bored so I downloaded HoudaSpot and performed a couple of test. And the result is surprising, HoudaSpot gives you way more control and power over the Spotlight Engine AND is still faster. From now on, HoudaSpot is definitely my new serach utility.
